STUDIES ON MITE SPECIES ASSOCIATED WITH FARM MANURES AT MENOUFIA PROVINCE

Abstract
This research included field and laboratory studies, the field studies carried out under the prevailing conditions in two locations;( the animal farm of faculty of agriculture at Shebin El-kom and private animal and poultry farm in Eldabayba in Berkt El-saba ) which representing at Menoufia province to survey certain mite species of farm manure inhabiting three different type of organic manure ( Cattle, sheep and poultry), during one year from January to December. laboratory studies were conducted in Agricultural Zoology Department .
The obtained results recorded forty three species belonging to thirty ninegenera under twenty nine families were collected and identify from tested manures . The genus Scatoglyphus belonging to family Scatoglyphidae from Acarididae group was recorded at the first time in Egypt . The population abundance of mite associated with manure mentioned above at both localities was studied.. The full description and measurements of adult male and female of the new species , Dendrolaelaps menoufiensis n. sp. (Digamasellidae) were presented which recorded in poultry manure from January to May 2016 at Shebin El-kom locality,Menofia Province . The predatory mite, Dendrolaelaps monoufiensis n. sp. was reared on different types of preys )acarid mite Tyrophagus putrescentiae (Shrank) , Free Living nematode and Mycelia of the three fungi species : Aspergillus niger, Rhizopus sp. and Fusarium oxysporum
